Familia Romana is a great start when you want to learn Latin. It is entirely written in Latin and takes you from sentences like “Roma in Italia est” to longer, intermediate texts. The book gradually builds your lexical and grammatical knowledge in a way that makes the learning process natural and enjoyable.
The story centers around a Roman family, their friends and slaves, but adds in some classical Latin texts towards the end.
The audio is a professional studio recording with which you can practice your listening comprehension, read along with the narrator to practice your own pronunciation, or use along with the printed text.
